Welcome!

I'm Puja Satwani, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and organizations through growth, change, and healing. My journey has been shaped not only by clinical training and leadership roles, but also by my lived cross-cultural and immigrant experiences as a bilingual therapist. I understand firsthand how culture, identity, and personal history influence the way we move through the world, and I strive to create a space where clients feel fully seen, heard, and understood.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices, weaving these approaches together in a way that is practical, compassionate, and grounded. I am especially passionate about helping individuals make meaning of their experiences and recognize the innate strengths they already carry. My professional background in nonprofit organizations supporting underserved communities impacted by complex trauma, has shaped my solution-focused, strengths-based approach—blending deep reflection with actionable strategies that promote clarity, resilience, and forward movement.

After many years in nonprofit leadership, I was drawn to private practice as a way to slow the pace and offer more intentional, individualized support to adults seeking deeper self-understanding, healing, and growth. I believe every person has the capacity to grow and adapt, even during seasons that feel overwhelming or uncertain. In therapy, I work with clients to understand their experiences, address barriers to change, and build on the strengths and values that support sustainable growth.

Outside of the therapy room, I find grounding and inspiration in nature. Time outdoors reminds me that growth is rarely linear, that change happens in seasons, and that stillness can be just as powerful as movement. This perspective informs my use of mindfulness practices, helping clients cultivate awareness, presence, and self-compassion as they navigate life's transitions.

Whether you are seeking therapy for emotional healing or coaching for more goal-oriented support, my role is to walk alongside you—offering guidance, structure, and care as you move toward a life that feels more aligned, authentic, and fulfilling.
